La Corte Verde is our design proposal for an innovative destination integrated into a dense urban forest. Our ambition is to create a new ecosystem where nature and the city coexist in an interdependent relationship
We propose a further stratification over time, enhancing the character of the existing building whilst responding to contemporary needs

The proposed extension is conceived around a central courtyard, maximising natural light and interaction between the old and new spaces of the house. The roof takes inspiration from the historic warehouses along the nearby Regent’s Canal, whilst the walls are built in solid, load-bearing stone bricks

Le Fornaci project focuses on the opening up of the living space toward a large terrace, inviting the view to become integral part of the internal environment

The passion for natural materials is at the heart of our creative process, combined with the desire to express the elements of the composition in an honest and functional way.

RMC is a construction methodology developed to promote sustainable and affordable schools across Eastern Africa. The project initiative is in collaboration with C-re-aid, a non-profit organisation based in Belgium, Tanzania and Rwanda.

Jubilant Tree is a non-profit project for a new nursery school for the children of the Jubilant orphanage in Moshi, Tanzania. This is the first step of a wider masterplan to provide social spaces for the kids and for the community.

Our work is defined by a collaborative and integrated approach, striving for an innovative use of materials and construction techniques

Active, green and beautiful spaces, will encourage visitors to stay, make the place their own. The vegetation reduces the heat island effect and filters the air, providing shade in summer and protection in winter. Conceived as a passive bioclimatic space, La Corte Verde will always be 10 degrees better than the outside.

Net.work promotes new opportunities for reuse and regeneration. The proposal advocates for a new synergy, expressed through a network that creates connections and interdependence between the elements of the installation and the visitors. An organic composition, in harmony with nature, to inspire people to pause and reflect.

Le Fornaci project explores the use of solid masonry wall construction, using two layers of multi-cellular clay blocks. This sustainable construction serves multiple purposes as it is load-bearing, thermally insulating and regulates the internal humidity. It could be finished with breathable render or simply left exposed.

“Earth is one of the most widely used and venerated materials in human history. But it is not just a building material; it is a process, and a catalyst. Earth is Weltanschauung.”
